An unusual Staffordshire figure

An unusual Staffordshire figure, of Jesus in the garden of Gethsemene, he kneels in prayer before a tree tended by an angel, the table base inscribed 'O My Father, Let this cup pass from me'. Some restoration. c.1830, 28cm. Cf. P Halfpenny, English Earthenware Figures, p.271 for a similar example.
