A good Worcester plate, decorated in the atelier of James Giles with five sprays of colourful flowers enclosed within two pairs of blue enamel lines with gilt dashes, unmarked, c.1770, 22.8cm. Cf. S.Spero and J.Sandon, Worcester Porcelain, The Zorensky collection, no.416 for a teacup and saucer in this pattern.
