A Chelsea Warren Hastings pattern dish
A Chelsea Warren Hastings pattern dish, the moulded border painted in the manner of Jeffryes Hamett O'Neale with three panels of animals, the centre with scattered flowers and insects, red anchor mark. Cracked in half and well restored. c.1755, 29cm. The Warren Hastings pattern is named after a large service once owned by the politician and was sold among his effects in 1818.
