A rare Chelsea octagonal teabowl and saucer, decorated in the manner of Jeffryes Hamett O'Neale with scenes from Aesop's Fables after Francis Barlow, the teabowl illustrating 'The Tiger and The Fox', the saucer with 'The Young Kite and His Mother', both unmarked. The saucer with two 1.5cm. rim cracks and an 8mm rim chip. c.1752. (2)
