MAGPIES AND PLUM BLOSSOM
A pair of Chinese scroll paintings, both ink on paper, signed xi yuan Fang Ji, with four artist's seals, together with another scroll painting by Lu Song depicting scholars, 125.5cm x 61cm. (3)
Provenance: formerly a private European collection acquired between the 1950s and 1980s.
Fang Ji was a Chinese painter who was very well known in Japan for his flower and bird paintings.
