the bowl with moulded rim, 'three arc' and stylised 'B' founder's marks, on 'D'-shaped reeded legs, the 'type 6' handle without a brace cast 'JOHN FATHERS'

Only two other John Fathers I skillets cast with the founder's name and marks are recorded. One is in the Yorkshire Museum, York, acc. no. YORYM:2006.1988.
