the 4.25 inch glass dial, possibly later, with black Roman numerals and single gilt metal arrow hand inside a gilt bezel, on a scrolling bracket supported by griffins, the waisted case decorated with a cherub amongst scrolling foliage containing a brass, a two train movement stamped inscribed 'Robert Houdin Paris', with an outside countwheel currently lacking a bell, with on a scrolling and shell foot, with a pendulum
