We are excited to be selling the collection of the late Michael and Margaret Susands on the 2nd July.  Michael Foster Ltd was a well respected antiques dealer operating in the Fulham Road and was a regular exhibitor at the Grosvenor House Antiques Fair in London during the 1980s and 1990s. From their Chelsea base, they also built up a wonderful private collection of furniture, silver, glass, ceramics and pictures.  Their house was a veritable treasure trove and was a testament to their love of their profession.  The collection demonstrates their unswerving standards and of course their knowledge. They really were arbiters of taste.

The collection features some wonderful pieces of 18^th century English furniture including a fine George III satinwood secretaire bookcase and a rare pair of painted and giltwood tables along with a fantastic selection of 18^th century chairs, period looking glasses, a rare Georgian wooden doll, two 18^th century bentside spinets and some fine tea caddies and boxes.
