An early 20th century Philip's six inch terrestrial table globe, made of twenty-four printed and coloured gores, with an oval title panel inscribed 'PHILIP'S 6 inch TERRESTRIAL GLOBE LONDON GEOGRAPHICAL INSTITUTE GEORGE PHILIP & SON LTD 32 FLEET STREET PRINTED IN GREAT BRITTAIN', mounted on a brass meridian and an ebonised stand, 28.4cm high.
