After Pierre-Jean David, also known as David D'Angers (French 1788-1856). A late 19th century bronze figure of Liberty, by Barbedienne, the base inscribed 'LIBERTÉ LIBERÉE CHÉRIE COMBATS AVEC TES DÉFENSEURS', signed 'P.J. David 1849' and 'F. BARBEDIENNE FONDEUR', mounted on a slate plinth, 24cm high.
