A 19th century French gilt and patinated bronze figure of a lady in the manner of Pradier, possibly of Erato, the muse of love and poetry, she reclines on a chaise-longue and holds a book in her left hand and a pen in her right, mounted on a green marble base, 29cm high, 35cm wide.
