An early 18th century Scottish green vellum leather bound notebook, with a brass hasp engraved with tulips, the first page inscribed 'Berwick Supra Tweed 18th Febry 1712', above a hand-coloured engraved coat of arms for the Robertson of Pitmillan and Foveran family, inscribed in ink with births, deaths and marriages dating from 1725 until 1895, some inscribed by John Robertson, Provost of Aberdeen (1736-1737), together with an 18th century gilt tooled red leather notebook 'Rider 1781', with common notes and moveable feasts, rider's fairs, 15.3cm (max). (2)
