in the Art Nouveau style, comprising: a dressing table inlaid with scrolling leaves and flowers and with a bevelled mirror and fitted with two drawers with copper handles, together with a single wardrobe with a bevelled mirror door enclosing hanging space, a cupboard decorated with a peacock and two short and one long drawer, each with a trade label inscribed 'Graham & Morton, Stirling' and with a metal registration label numbered 'RD 241158, Raleigh' (2)
165.5cm high, 107cm wide, 48.7cm deep (dressing table), 196cm high, 124cm wide, 47cm deep (the wardrobe)

Graham & Morton are listed in the Dictionary of British and Irish Furniture Makers, 1500-1914 as working in Stirling (fl. 1897-1906). It is noted that the firm was listed in the Cook & Wylie’s Stirling directory from 1897-1906 in King Street and Dumbarton Road as makers of ‘High Class and Artistic Goods at Moderate Prices, in Drawing Room, Dining Room, Bedroom, Occasional and Library Furniture.
