the back top rail of three arches, each carved with a scalloped lower edge, on ball turned spindles, the lower backrail gauge carved, further back decoration in the form of acorn finials, the uprights with scroll terminals and applied split bobbin and button mouldings, the panelled seat on block and ball turned front legs, joined by a ball turned fore rail and multiple plain stretchers
