Archery interest. 'A View of the Shooting for the Silver Arrow at Harrow Hill', a hand coloured etching and engraving, by Charles Knight 1769 and published by William Todd, later annotated in 1771 with the contestant's names, 9.75 x 10.25in (24.5 x 25.5cm) glazed in an ebonised frame, with inscription to the verso dated '1841'; 'The Graces of Archery or Elegant Airs, Attitudes and Lady Traps', a hand coloured engraving, by Charles Ansell, published by S. W. Fores, 1794, 15 x 20.25in (38 x 51.4cm) framed and glazed; 'Archery at the Crystal Palace', a hand coloured etching, together with nine books relating to archery including: 'The Book of Archery' by G. A. Hansard; 'Ford on Archery' edited by W. Butt; and 'The History of Archery' by E. Burke. (12)
