A fine central African, Zaire, Kuba carved wood palm-wine cup, resting on four flexed supports, the handle carved a human face thumbpiece late 19th century / early 20th century, 7in (18cm) h. Provenance: Purchased from John Hewitt, 17th March 1958 by Charles Milton (1911-1993) textile designer and artist.
