A George III mahogany serpentine dressing chest in the manner of Thomas Chippendale, the top with a moulded edge above four long graduated drawers, the top one with a baize lined slide revealing divisions, all fitted with original brass handles with flowerhead paterae plates, flanked by curved angles, on bracket feet, 88cm high, 107.1cm wide, 58.5cm deep.

Provenance: Purchased from John Bly Antiques, 27 Bury Street, London, 9th July 1999 for £55,000. A copy of the receipt is available.
