A George III mahogany secretaire bookcase, inlaid with stringing and goncalo alves banding, the detachable cornice with a Greek key moulding, above a pair of astragal glazed doors enclosing three adjustable shelves, the secretaire fitted with an arrangement of satinwood veneered drawers, pigeonholes and a central cupboard, parquetry inlaid with a fan patera, flanked by a pair of secret pilaster compartments, above a pair of oval panel doors enclosing two shelves, 217.5cm high, 109.1cm wide, 55.3cm deep.
