A George III mahogany drum table

A George III mahogany drum table, the circular revolving top inset with a later tan and gilt tooled leather writing surface, above four frieze drawers alternating with four hinged quadrant drawers, two with divisions for pens and inkwells, on a turned stem and four reeded splay legs terminating in brass caps and castors, 75.1cm high, 90.8cm diameter.

Provenance: Purchased from Reindeer Antiques Ltd, 81 Kensington Church Street, London, 17th March 1999 for £15,000. A copy of the receipt is available.
