A 19th century colonial teak and brass mounted trunk, decorated with an ebony heart and two birds, the interior with a hinged lidded compartment and two open divisions, with side carrying handles, 48.8cm high, 79cm wide, 46.3cm deep.

Provenance: By repute acquired from a family whose Great Grandfather was a General in the Indian army and from the Honourable East India Company dating it before 1857 and the Indian Mutiny.
