λ A Regency rosewood and brass mounted writing table, the rectangular top with cusped corners and inset with a gilt tooled green leather writing surface, above a base inlaid with brass and boxwood stringing and fitted with two frieze drawers, on lyre shaped trestle ends and scroll legs united by a turned stretcher, on brass lion's paw sabot and castors, 75.2cm high, 120.2cm wide, 69cm deep.

Provenance: Purchased from Marks Antiques, 49 Curzon Street, London, 17th March 1999, £32,000. A copy of the receipt is available.
