An Edwardian preserved group of seven birds in the manner of Edward Fortnum of Leighton Buzzard, including: a rare New Zealand weka, a duck, a pied wagtail, a swallow and two stints, mounted in a naturalistic river setting, with a split level base to imitate water, with a visible riverbed, in an ebonised glazed case, 62.5cm high, 78.2cm wide, 22cm deep.
