A preserved didactic dog fish head by Gerrard & Co. of London, set in formaldehyde, with a label inscribed 'Scyliorhinus Canicula DOGFISH HEART, AFFERENT and EFFERENT, VESSELS INJECTED also BRAIN CRANIAL NERVES and SEMICIRCULAR CANALS EXPOSED', with an ivorine trade label, in a glass jar, late 19th / early 20th century, 21.2cm high, 12.5cm wide, 10cm deep.
