A pair of Italian marble models of lions attributed to Francesco Bertos, each crouching, one with a sphere under his front right paw, inscribed 'M', the other holding a shield with an oval coat of arms, possibly for the Manno family of Sciacca or the Piacentina family of Verona, probably Venetian, late 17th / early 18th century, mounted on grey marble plinths, 13.2cm high, 19cm wide.
