Two 19th century German bronze busts
Two 19th century German bronze busts, one of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia, after Christian Daniel Rauch, the other of Frederick Wilhelm von Brandenburg Elector after Andreas Schluter, each on a parcel gilt walnut plinth carved with ribbon tied swags of husks and flowers, 35.5cm high (max). The original sculptures, both equestrian monuments, can be found in Unter den Linden, Berlin and Charlottenburg Palace, Berlin respectively.
