A Victorian mahogany cylinder pedestal desk, with carved leaf floret ribbon and gadrooned decoration, the top with a detachable three quarter gallery, above a retractable fall revealing an interior fitted with drawers and pigeonholes, above a pull-out writing surface, inset with three later gilt tooled leather panels, the central one hinged and on a ratchet, flanked by further hinged compartments and divisions for pens and ink, above three drawers to each pedestal, 120cm high, 137cm wide, 81.5cm deep.
