A late 19th century Cantonese fan, painted figures in interiors, with applied heads and fabric clothing to both sides, one within a cartouche to exotic birds, insects and flowers, the mother of pearl sticks similarly engraved, two repaired, 19.25in (49cm) w, open, in a gilt decorated lacquer box with trade label 'YUTSHING'.
