An 18th century brass lantern clock by William Gill of Maidstone, the brass movement with an anchor escapement striking on a bell, the dial with Roman numerals and a single hand, with engraved decoration and signed 'William Gill Maidstone', the case with turned urn finials and pierced crests, 35.4cm high.
Provenance: Sold by the executors of the late Pamela Spater (d.2018), Amersham, Buckinghamshire.
