the brass eight day movement with an anchor escapement, four knopped pillars and striking on a bell, the 13 1/4 inch brass dial with a silvered chapter ring with black Roman and Arabic numerals and inscribed 'Fewllers Liverpool', around a matted centre with scrolling foliage, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, the arch with a painted moonphase, the case with a swan neck pediment, gilded blue glass panels, arched door and blind fretwork above a shaped trunk door and panelled base, with two weights and a pendulum
