the brass eight day twin fusee movement with dual repeat mechanisms on a nest of twelve bells and striking on a further single bell, the backplate with engraved foliate borders and the bob pendulum with a sunburst, the enamelled dial, probably later, with black Roman hours numerals beneath an arch with a central chime selector dial flanked by 'Strike Silent' and Chime Silent' dials, the domed case with a gilt metal pineapple finial above silk backed gilt metal sound frets, stop fluted quarter columns, ivory escutcheon and brass scrolling feet, with a pendulum
