inlaid with various fruitwoods, pewter, brass, mother of pearl and ivory with various panels including a classical lake view with temple ruins, the front with war trophies, the sides and back with musical instruments, the hinged lid with a mirror to the underside revealing a silk lined interior fitted with porcelain and glass recepticals, scent bottles and boxes and covers with a kingwood needle case and tortoiseshell utensils
