the brass eight day movement with a verge escapement, bob pendulum, repeat and alarm mechanisms, striking on a bell, the backplate with scrolling floral decoration, on a silvered dial with black Roman hours and Arabic five minutes, inscribed 'Martin London' to the centre, beneath the alarm dial to the arch, the domed case with brass fishscale side panels and ogee feet
