the brass eight day drum movement with silk suspension, an outside count wheel and striking on a bell, on a white enamel dial with black Roman hours and Arabic quarters and inscribed 'Malfroy a Macon', inside a milled bezel above a ropework fringe, suspended from a black marble arched body surmounted by a gilt metal poodle flanked by a pair of urns, above a wyvern appliqué, on a pair of oval columns with flowerhead and dancing muse appliqués, on a bowfront base with beaded edging and gilt metal bun feet, with a cherub pendulum
