An early 19th century mahogany banjo wheel barometer, with ebonised edging and silvered dials, the main dial 10in (25.5cm) diameter, the level dial inscribed 'Phillips, Salisbury,' 43.5in (110.5cm) h. James Phillips working 1820-1839 in the Market Square and after 1830 in Blue Boar Row.
