A late George III mahogany and satinwood bureau bookcase, with a pair of astragal glazed doors of elliptical design, enclosing three adjustable shelves, the interior with marquetry decoration and with pigeon holes, drawers and secret compartments with a baize lined surface, above two short and three long drawers, the underside of one stamped '4593', 233.8cm high, 124cm wide, 58.8cm deep.
