λ A late 18th century French silk fan, the ivory sticks with gilt and silvered decoration, the fan applied with sequins, with swags, flowers and leaves and with three gouache painted panels, depicting a family in a woodland setting marvelling at a clock, and a man and a woman playing instruments, 50.5cm wide, in a later glazed rectangular display case.
