An 18th century Spanish walnut vargueno, the panelled fall carved with a basket of flowers and scrolls and husks, with a fretwork escutcheon, the interior with an arrangement of drawers, pigeonholes and a pair of cupboards, the centre with an arched compartment with a secret drawer, 63.8cm high, 92.2cm wide, 34cm deep.
