λ A pair of late 19th century French Dieppe carved ivory figures, of a gentleman with a dress sword and a lady carrying a posy of flowers and a fan, both in 18th century costume, each on an ebonised socle, one with a retailer's paper label inscribed 'Wm OPPENHEIM, DRESDEN CHINA DEPOT, 43 Farringdon St. E.C.', 16.4cm high.
