A George I walnut bureau cabinet, the moulded cornice above a pair of later astragal glazed doors above a pair of candle slides, the moulded edge fall with a book rest to a fitted interior with a pull-out central section of hinged cupboard door, pigeon holes and two drawers, one drawer inscribed 'Devizes Bills &' revealing four secret drawers, flanked by three drawers each side, the front with a pair of lopers above two short and two long drawers, fitted replaced engraved brass plate handles and escutcheons on bracket feet, with brass side carrying handles, 92in (233.5cm) h, 42.5in (107cm) w, 23.5in (59.5cm) d.
