A walnut and mahogany kneehole desk, the burr-veneered and crossbanded rectangular top above a frieze drawer and a cupboard door enclosing a shelf, the kneehole with cusp corners flanked by three further drawers, all fitted brass plate handles, the base with a moulded edge and on bracket feet, George III and later, 29in (73.5cm) h, 31.5in (80cm) w, 18.25in (46.5cm) d.
