An early Victorian rosewood and brass inlaid travelling toilet box by Edwards, the lid with a monogrammed brass plaque and inset a a gilt tooled letter pouch stamped 'EDWARDS, MANUFACTURER TO HER MAJESTY, 21 KING ST. BLOOMSBURY, LONDON' and a mirror, the green leather lined interior with divisions previously for bottles and a lift-out tray, the brass lock stamped 'J. BRAMAH, CROWNED, 184 PICCADILLY', the sides with sunken brass handles, 5.75in (14.7cm), 13.5in (34.3cm) w, 9.75in (24.3cm) d. Veneer splits.
