A japanned and painted circular snuff box, in the manner of Stobwasser, the cover decorated Britannia with a semi-naked maiden, three putti and a cherub, with a shield with the Royal Coat of Arms (Hanover) leant against a pedestal with German inscription 'Feuer dem Konig, Achenglie... der Reichover... Liebe dem Vaterlande,' glazed with a gilt brass rim, 2nd half 18th century, 3.75in (9.5cm) dia.
