A walnut bureau, with crossbanding and wide stringing, the moulded edge fall with a gilt tooled leather inset, a well with cover to a central cupboard door flanked by a pair of pilaster compartments, pigeon holes and drawers, above lopers and a girdle moulding to two short and two long drawers, fitted replaced brass handles, on bracket feet, 18th century and later, 39.5in (100.5cm) h, 37.5in (95cm) w, 20.25in (51.5cm) d.
