λ A George III rosewood and marquetry inlaid Pembroke table, the oval drop-leaf top with tulip wood crossbanding and decorated with husk swags, urns and leaf scrolls and centred with a later satinwood fan patera, with a bowfront frieze drawer, on faux fluted square tapering legs and spade feet, 70.6cm high, 92.4cm wide, 71.8cm deep (open).

Purchased from Mill House Antiques, Petworth, West Sussex, 13th March 1992, for £17,000.
