A 19th century bird's eye maple and painted sarcophagus shape box

A 19th century bird's eye maple and painted sarcophagus shape box, decorated with scrolling leaves, garlands and baskets of flowers with peacock feathers, the hinged lid with a central panel of Venus in a chariot with Cupid on her side, with a silk lined interior and faceted side carrying handles (one partly missing) , 38cm high, 60.4cm wide, 41.5cm deep.
