A walnut longcase clock, the eight day movement with five turned pillars and an anchor escapement striking on a bell, with a 12in arched dial with engraved feather banding and gilt spandrels, with a silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, with a subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, the arch with a silvered rondel inscribed 'Geo Clarke, White Chappel, London', the hood with fretwork spandrels and turned columns above a crossbanded case, 226.3cm high.
