Great Exhibition interest. A rare Victorian mahogany pocket compass, the screw-off lid revealing a green card dial with various London landmarks emanating from Regent Circus with distance in miles, including: 'The Exhibition', 'African Exhibition', 'Egyptian Hall', the base with a cardboard insert inscribed in pen 'COMPASS MADE FOR VISITORS TO THE EXHIBITION IN HYDE PARK 1851', 8.2cm diameter.
