An 18th century oak longcase clock by Richard Comber of Lewes, the thirty hour birdcage movement with an anchor escapement striking on a bell, the brass dial with a silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, the centre signed 'Rich Comber Lewes', with date aperture and cast foliate spandrels, the hood with turned columns with giltwood capitals above a shaped waist door, 208.4cm high.
