A William IV painted London and Brighton railway truncheon, the shaft decorated with a crown above the town arms of London and Brighton within a garter and inscribed 'LONDON AND BRIGHTON RAILWAY COMPANY 1837', and painted with floral sprays, with a ribbed handle, the base stamped 'PARKER HOLBORN 233', 46.7cm long.
