λ A mid 19th century Anglo-Indian ivory and horn sewing box, of sarcophagus shape, lac decorated with bands of scrolling leaves and flowers, the sandalwood lined interior with a hinged compartment to the lid above a lift-out tray fitted with four lidded compartments, a thimble holder and pin cushions, on flattened bun feet, Vizagapatam, 16.3cm high, 21cm wide.
